Dr. DiMartino truly cares about the total health of his patients. I had mentioned on my intake form a few years back that I was taking the medication Boniva for the treatment of Osteoporosis. He asked me whether my prescribing doctor had taken the time to share with me the latest information on the dangers of this medication and others like it. We talked further about it and he knowledgeably and patiently answered all of my questions. I went home and did some research of my own which confirmed exactly what Dr. DiMartino had said. Needless to say, I was angry with my prescribing doctor for neglecting to mention this to me. I immediately switched to a bone density supplement that Dr. DiMartino recommended. I’ve had several bone density scans since then and am happy to report that I’ve had a HEALTHY increase in bone density. I’m so grateful that Dr. DiMartino took the time to address an issue that was completely unrelated to what I was seeking care for.
